Congrats to Chris Mannix for the best Kobe trade idea yet (other than that amazing bench-clearing Bulls trade idea):

Finally, I'd like to propose a trade scenario: The Lakers deal Bryant and the 19th pick to Portland for a package including Zach Randolph and the first pick. Think about it.

Okay, I did think about it, and what I think is that both teams would have to be tempted. The Lakers get the "center of the future" and Kobe teams up with Aldridge and Roy. Hm.


[One slight hitch: no way Kobe will agree to play in Portland.]
